Why is the first run slow?
The AI model (about 40 MB) downloads to your device the first time. After that it is cached and every run is much faster.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The model runs via WebAssembly in your browser; the photo never leaves your device.
How does it handle hair?
It uses a modern segmentation model, so hair and fine edges come out well, though very busy backgrounds can leave small artefacts.
